Online Validator in GST Number

When you are using a GST portal, or submitting your return, you may have difficulty identifying your correct GSTIN. An invalid number can prevent you from claiming the appropriate ITC or filing your return correctly. The following steps will help you to find out whether or not your number is valid. You must have the right GSTIN and be able to use the GST portal properly. These steps will make your GSTIN registration as smooth as possible.

The first step is to enter your GSTIN. The number should be in the format outlined in the screen. Paste it in the form, and press Enter. The second step involves selecting the state you are registered in. Then, type in the check-digit of the state's code (in this case, A). Then, press Enter. Then, press F12 or Ctrl+A to save the new settings. Then, select Allow HSN/SAC details and hit OK. This step is not required if you have already made previous settings.

After entering your GSTIN, click "Submit". The verification tool will fetch data from the Government of India. It will then display the results. It's like searching on Google, except that you'll be asked to enter a captcha to verify the search. After you've entered your GSTIN, you'll have to click the "submit" button. Once your information has been submitted, the online validator will display a report of the details it found.
