The registration process for Udyam is entirely digital and paperless based on self-declaration by the business. The portal is integrated with the Income Tax and GST Identification systems as well as the government e-marketplace.
In the first step, the business must declare whether it is a proprietorship, partnership firm, or a limited liability company (LLC). Then, enter the number of employees and the total investment in plant and machinery. Also, provide the NIC or National Industry Classification Code for the business activity. After entering these details, select the DIC or district industry center to which the declaration is being made. Once the information has been verified, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number or email address. Once the OTP is entered, the Udyamregistration Consultant will be completed.
